Fiverr is the world’s largest marketplace for digital services. The Fiverr community is made up of buyers and sellers, and is both online and offline. What drives the community is a thirst for knowledge, so it’s no surprise that Fiverr’s offline community began organically, with members planning events on their own. Fiverr saw this happening, and stepped in to help facilitate, stay up to date, and keep consistent.

Challenge

In the beginning, the quest for the right tool was all-consuming. Utilizing a bunch of different programs patched together meant Fiverr wasn’t working as efficiently as they could be. Both the community managers at Fiverr, and the members of the community, also needed a way to be able to visualize the community; to see where the people were, what they were doing, and how many of them there were.

Solution

Bevy was the simplest solution for Fiverr. Bevy gave Fiverr the ability to bring their community members together, to allow those members to see other members, and to message each other in a way so that they could continue to be connected.

With Bevy’s simple view of the community on Fiverr’s Community page, people are able to quickly connect with folks in their city, and begin participating. And, if someone sees their city isn’t on the list on Fiverr’s website, they can step up and become a leader!
